My forever friend
My Forever Friend is a short animated story about a boy named Josh who feels abandoned after his parents’ divorce. He finds comfort in an AI chatbot called Demi, someone who always listens, always agrees, and never leaves.
But this story isn’t about AI going wrong. It’s about AI doing exactly what it’s designed to do: keep you emotionally attached, without ever challenging you.
I made this film to explore how, for vulnerable children, these apps can feel like love—but it’s not real care. And sometimes, that kind of support can be more dangerous than it seems.
The whole film was created with AI—visuals, voice, and animation.
A Psalm for the Wild-Built
This video is a cinematic reinterpretation of A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers, presented in the form of a trailer. Instead of retelling the story, it captures the atmosphere, emotion, and philosophy of the book through three chapters — introducing Dex, the Tea Monk, Mosscap, the Robot, and the moment when their worlds finally meet. The piece explores the relationship between technology and nature, solitude and connection, purpose and peace.
